ABOUT STRATEGIC INFORMATICS SOLUTIONS

Nurse-led. Research-backed. Built to align people and technology.

We help healthcare organizations get real value from their technology by aligning the people who deliver care with the systems and strategies meant to support them.

WHO WE ARE

We fix the gap between care and technology.

Most failed implementations aren't technology failures. They're alignment failures: frontline clinicians left out of planning, leadership disconnected from workflow reality, and culture working against change.

SIS diagnoses those gaps and closes them.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Dr. Sophia Brown

Dr. Sophia Brown is a registered nurse with more than 35 years in clinical nursing and more than 25 years leading healthcare IT implementations.

As a system implementer at a large hospital, she was the clinical voice at the table. She gathered pain points from nursing teams, observed workflows firsthand, wrote change requests to the technology side, and brought the changes back to clinicians to validate, across barcode medication administration, blood transfusion, and clinical documentation projects. She has also guided long-term care facilities through the move from paper to electronic records.

She watched the same pattern repeat: clinicians handed technology they never helped plan, then blamed for resisting it. Her doctoral research on strategic change adaptation turned that pattern into two frameworks, HTAM™ and CTAM™, which are the foundation of every SIS engagement.

Our mission

We align clinical, operational, and technology teams so healthcare organizations can adopt technology that clinicians trust, reduce costly workarounds and turnover, and improve patient care.

Our vision

A healthcare system where every technology decision includes the voices of the people who deliver care.

Why leaders choose SIS

Clinician-led

We speak nursing, operations, IT, and finance, because our founder has worked in all four.

A named, repeatable method

HTAM™ and CTAM™ give you a structured diagnosis, not a generic consulting engagement.

Measured in dollars and outcomes

Every engagement ties alignment gaps to cost, retention, and quality metrics your CFO and CNO both care about.

Flexible engagement

From a one-time assessment to fractional CNIO/CIO leadership.
