Where would you like to start?
Everything at SIS comes back to one idea: alignment, between leaders and teams, strategy and execution, people and technology. Choose the path that sounds most like you.
HEALTH SYSTEMS
“I lead a healthcare organization, and something isn’t working.”
Stalled go-lives, workarounds, burnout, turnover. A Bedside-First Go-Live assessment finds where people, process and technology are out of sync, and fixes it. Fractional CNIO leadership is available too.
LEADERS & TEAMS
“I want to grow as a leader, or grow my team.”
Executive and nurse leader coaching, DISC assessments for teams, workshops, keynotes and practical toolkits, built on the same alignment principles.
HEALTH TECH & VENDORS
“I’m a health tech or consulting firm serving healthcare.”
Add nurse-led clinical integration to your implementations, so clinicians adopt what you build and your clients renew.
Not sure where you fit? Take the free 3-minute Risk Score or book a free 30-minute discovery call, and we’ll point you in the right direction.
THE PROBLEM
Your teams are working as islands.
Clinical teams know where the workflow breaks. Technology teams know what the system can do. Leadership sets the strategy. Too often, these groups never really talk.
So nurses get handed systems they never helped design. They build workarounds. They get labeled "resistant to change." And the technology you paid for never delivers its return.
That isn't a people problem. It's an alignment problem, and it can be measured and fixed.
I saw this from the inside. For 10 years I took the on-call calls after go-live, and the one I heard most was "I can't scan this medication." The system worked. The workflow didn't.
Most hospitals treat failed go-lives, workarounds, and nurse turnover as three separate problems. HTAM™ treats them as one: misalignment between the people who set strategy, the people who build the systems, and the people who use them at the bedside.
When clinicians and technology aren't aligned, you pay for it.

HOW WE WORK
How a Bedside-First Go-Live works: Islands to Alignment™
1. Assess
Start with the free Risk Score, then a 90-minute assessment. I talk with frontline nurses, managers and IT to find where the workflow and the system disagree.
2. Align
Close the gaps before go-live: workflows, a champion on every shift, leadership communication and the technology build.
3. Integrate
Go live with clinicians already part of the design, the right specialists in place, and SIS accountable for adoption.
4. Sustain
Measure adoption after go-live and keep the results in place, with fractional CNIO leadership if you need it.
Two frameworks. One goal: alignment.
Both models are grounded in Dr. Brown's doctoral research, on how technology affects nursing home quality ratings (PhD) and the strategies healthcare leaders use to make strategic change succeed (DBA), plus 25 years of leading clinical system implementations.
HTAM™
Healthcare Transformation Alignment Model
For organization-wide transformation. HTAM™ builds top-down and bottom-up communication so frontline knowledge shapes strategic planning. It assesses alignment across operations, leadership, culture, and technology, and targets a fix to each gap it finds.
CTAM™
Clinical Technology Alignment Model
For technology selection, implementation, and optimization. CTAM™ brings clinicians into the conversation early, so their workflows and judgment are built into the solution, not bolted on after go-live.

PhD · DBA · RN · FHIMSS · FACHE · PMP
Dr. Sophia Brown spent more than three decades at the bedside before she led her first system implementation. Since then she has led more than 10 clinical system go-lives, including institution-wide barcode medication administration for 2,500+ nurses and respiratory therapists, blood administration and specimen collection, paper-to-electronic documentation, and executive leadership through an enterprise EHR transition. For 10 years she also took the on-call calls after go-live. That experience, plus her PhD and DBA research, became HTAM™ and CTAM™.

If your report doesn't surface at least 3 actionable gaps your team didn't already have, I'll run a second working session with your leadership team at no cost.
Who should take part?
The leaders who own clinical operations and technology decisions. I'll also speak with 3–5 people closer to the work, such as a frontline nurse, a unit manager and IT.
How soon can we start?
After you book, I'll email you session times within one business day.
What happens afterward?
You receive a written Alignment Report with prioritized fixes, and we walk through it on a 60-minute debrief. If you want help putting it into action, we'll talk about the right next step.
Is this only for hospitals?
No. It also fits long-term care, post-acute and home care organizations, and health tech companies rolling out clinical systems.
How aligned is your organization?
Book a 90-Minute Alignment Assessment and get a written report showing where misalignment is putting your people, patients, and budget at risk.
